2015 was the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Flag. No matter how our flag is flying it is recognizable with the distinctive red stripes, even if you can’t see or make out the maple leaf.
I took a few photos of the flag and began to question what the flag symbolized to me. Then, exploring flags I was inspired by Charles Pachter to commence a series photographing the flag.
